Thinking of buying a 96 XPS are they dependable and what about ride quality

There’s no XPS, would be an XP or SPX.

Very fun hull and probably the most playful hull Seadoo made. Horrible in rough choppy water and not good with 2 people on it.

Yes it’s a Spx thanks for your input. Is the hull comparable to a GS. I have one of them currently

No, much rougher and unstable than a GS.
But also much more fun than a GS. I never cared for the GS/GSX hull.
