Yet another ski pylon and tubing Question.

OK.
I know that we are not to pull tubes with the ski pylon on our skis So my 2 questions are:
1. How am I supposed to use the ski eye just below the back seat when it is right behind the pylon? If I were to attach a rope to the eye, the rope would pull across the pylon when I turned, which would put a lot of stress on the pylon.
2. Is my only option to use the eyes below the back deck (stern tie-downs)?

I pulled tubes with mine, but I made sure that the pylon is fully retrackted, there is and ancher to the body on yours is there not?

you could probably tie the rope to the BOTTOM of the pylon, near the bolts. It should be plenty strong there.
