Hello all, I am working on a top end in one of my "cheap fun" boats.
It's a 1990 SP/yellow 580. +.5mm pistons/bore.
I measured the squish gap and I am reading right around 1.8mm, which is at the high end of spec. I can't find base gaskets of different thicknesses at the usual places I order parts from.
Is this close enough or should I really try to get this to measure near the middle of spec: (from seadoosource) 1.2-1.8mm
