XP Hull Style Expierience

Hello,

New to the forum. We're looking to pick up an XP. We have a '95 SPX and love the squirrelly hull. I know the XP changed hull styles in 1997 till 2004??? and I was wondering if anyone had ridden both and could help me out...

95--97 xp

ok to sum it up your hull is a lean out type hull. the 97 on is a lean in type. i.e more like a motorcycle. the 97 hull is more stable than a 95 and a bit heavier. but that dont mean its not as much fun. the 97 is still a sporty hull & compared to the bigger skis pretty unstable. i have both and find the 97 rides the wake better than the 95 & turns better once u get used to it.
