Hi!

When I leave my XP 95 in low speed, without acceleration, for some time, and next I try to accelerate, the engine stop to work and I can only make the engine work again if I put WD-40 (I don't know if this product exists in U.S) in the air filter. If I don't put, the XP 95 don't start the engine.

Sorry if my english is not so good, I hope you understand.

Thank you.

I wouldnt recommend doin that. Take alook in the outside fuel strainer, also, take apart and clean the fuel selector valve. If your ski, still has grey fuel lines, need to replace those with black fuel line 1/4in. But before all that, docompression test, if good, but have grey lines, and/or even still, might want to remove the carbs and dismantle them, clean the internal filter inside it, along with can of carb cleaner, clean inside the carb as well. Might be able to get away with not hav'n to rebuild them...

Timmyboy76,

Always when I stay 3 or 4 days whitout start my jetski I need to put WD40 into air filter. My mechanic tell me this procedure when the engine don't start.

The same happens if I leave the engine in low rotation and aI try to accelerate.

Looks like the engine is stall.

hey gus...oviosly, theres a problem with fuel system. FIRE the mechanic, sign up for premium membership for a month(10 buks), then quit after the month, but atleast, you download your skis' manual, with awesome pictures, and tackle job yourself. Get a can or 2 of carb cleaner and go at it, stud..
