My xp wont fire up.. I have cheked all the fuel filters, the sparkplugs are new and have a good spark.. It backfires after i turn it a few times..
What can be the problem??

That's right reed valves on that model...See if one is improperly installed. That would cause it to back fire. Are the pistons bigger or std as the originals were.

Check to see if there is a air leak somewhere around the intake. What else did you do besides top end and reed valves? Are the carb lines correct...maybe something is back words. Give it all a look over again.
Let me know so we can get it running for the weekend.

I have had the entire engine apart.. I had to replace the crankshaft, the pistons and the reed valves..
I´m not sure that the fuel lines are correct mounted but the plugs get vet after i crank it a few times..
I cant wait to get it running again:)

What is the standard sice of the pistons and cylinder in diameter??

I think my compression device is busted.. I got only 80psi this time... I have to get a new one to be sure it works properly..
