Hello all, I made a previous post but I am not getting any traction on it so making a new thread to see if it will be seen.
Going to be doing a x4 951 In likely a 96 xp hull.
I have a few questions and I am in the parts gathering stage. I gave a 99 XPL as a parts ski and am still working on finding a good clean hull but should have it soon enough.
Steps
1. Mag cover welded for motor mount
2. 951 White pipe
3. Glass in New exhuast on other side to avoid back pressure and run RFI waterbox (need one of these)
4. Big hub impeller housing (having trouble finding one so if any of you have one PM with details or may run stock pump housing for a little)
5. Move battery and rear electrical box to other side
6. Convert raves to how the 787 run
Questions
7. Should I run stock 96 xp electronics with MSD enhancer? From what I understand I will need to use a 98 XPL magneto if I do this because 99 XPL style magneto will not work with 96 xp electronics even with enhancer
8. Do I need to chnage stock 96 xp fuel baffle?
9. Do I need to rejet thr carbs?
10. What else am I missing?
