Looking for a pump gas safe head, preferably 43cc domes. Want to stay around 175 psi.... Not looking for new unless cheap and no west coast. Nothing wrong with the WC just don't like the looks... Thanks in advance- Brandon

I picked up that polished ADA head that was listed on here... It has the 41cc domes but I'm goin to purchase the correct 43cc that I need. Sorry been away from my phone most of the day..

Thinking my xp is due for a motor refreshening . What other supporting mods are you gonna run on your setup nelson ?

Just goin to go mild... Some Prok arrestors and a re-jet to go with the head.... Possibly a Rossier pipe in the future but not certain on that[emoji16]

Lol you'd thinking I'm making this up , but I was thinking the EXACT same setup man! You think just the head and the rejet will add a little kick ?

I'm hoping so.... I've read of some good results with the Prok's, head, and re-jet... I just want to keep it mild as to not shorten the life too much.... Not really after top speed, just a little more punch off the line... And I think those mods will help that considerably

Ha and that's awesome on the thought! Great minds think alike or something like that.... Now if only I know of someone with a great mind lol

Same for me . I'm running an XO and 85/88 nozzles already . From what I read the rossier is the most "friendly " pipe . Which is what I'm looking for also .

Same as what I've read, I have the same nozzle setup as you, but just a the stock impeller. Not really sure I'll even want a Rossier, not because of the name, just don't know if I want the extra hassle of an aftermarket pipe.... Want to see how happy I am with the other mods first

I can do that... It may be awhile though.... With my work schedule like it has been lately stuff had been getting done around my place a lot slower

Weird....for my 97spx I'm restoring I have the following waiting to go on: 85/88 nozzles, 17/22 and XO to try with them, proks, and novi head. I too would like to add the extra punch off the line without sacrificing realiability to much...

I have a spec2, ecwi, and some other goodies sitting on the shelf but I haven't ballsed up enough to throw it on (mainly cuz I'm fairly new to tuning...)

Watch the temps on that ADA head Bnelson. I guy I ride with just bought one and sold it with in teh last year, tried different cooling set ups 6 ways from Sunday and it always seemed to run hot. He put a Mel Miller head on and that thing runs ice cold compared to the ADA on the exact same set up, only change was the head.

Hey racer , any opinions on what head would be best for a pump gas , rec setup? What sizes domes ?

Nope, I stick to stock. Braley is your guy on that. To me a few extra MPH isn't worth the money. I like to hit waves and jump I don't need extra power to do that.

I cant wait to roast you off the line in your old spx which is perfectly stock while your sitting on the dock "tuning" ;)

Ah come on now CR..... Lol let's hope I don't have to do too much tuning... I'm hoping by staying as mild as I am that once I find the right combo I can set it an forget it kinda thing... And if I get it right, good luck leaving me lol [emoji14]
And racerxxx, thanks for the tip on the head, something to definitely keep an eye on... Do you know if your buddy was running pump gas or?

We can talk about the water routing options once you get that head in hand. Most 787(and 717 heads for that matter) run the incoming water past the domes first and then through the exhaust and out the other side of the head. The ADA skips this. I'm sure you asked for installation instructions from them when you ordered the new domes.

I'm always willing to answer aftermarket parts questions. I have many parts I can sell and will be able to send pictures and send off packages soon.
