wrong oil???

Hey guys newbie here and already making mistakes ... Noticed 97 Challenger oil injection was down to 1/4 tank and oil lite was bouncing on and off with sharp cornering My buddy informed me I should use only BRP oils so he lent me a gallon of his xps mineral oil. I now know that only the Challenger should use synthetic oil. Should I drain the mineral oil out or is it ok to run this gallon thru mixing with synthetic oil as needed in future?? Its a single engine 110hp boat.

As long as you stay with BRP oil you can mix mineral and synthetic. Since you have already mixed brands, it looks like you got lucky and dodged the bullet.

Thanks Lou, I think I will pump out as much as I can and replace w/ synthetic that way I won't have to deal with air in the lines etc,as long as I don't risk cooking the motor....
