I have a opportunity to buy a 1997 Sea Doo Explorer with the larger motor in mint condition. The boat was hardly used. Kind of a barn find type of thing. It would be perfect for our inland lake as I have been thinking about a inflatable dinghy with a outboard. My concern is that if it needs any type of repair both mechanical or the hull, it will become junk. I am a die hard Bombardier fan having owned many Sea Doo's and many many Ski Doo's and really want this thing. Any comments or help would be helpful. Thank you in advance for your help.

I believe those have a fan club or something along those lines, do some research b/c they're mentioned occasionally.
No problem at all with owning them. Sounds like it's worth up to 4K with a trailer. If it breaks fix it.
