Its a 2003 sportster LE. The motor is "toast", but other than that, it is in fantastic condition. Ive seen pics from a trusted friend. Also, I can't get an answer from the owner's estate about if its a 951 DI or carb. Ive been told it may have had either powerplant. Its been in storage for 3 years and I can't get at it till spring. They would sell it for $2K. Yes, No, Maybe?
Planning on around $1200 for a rebuild depending on exactly what I find out "blown" means.

It sounds like a good deal, especially if includes the trailer. But being in storage for 3 years be prepared to put a lot more than $1200.00 into the boat. BOAT - Break Out Another Thousand.

A reman 951 is about 1K by itself, than add shipping, R&R the motor, a gasket kit, battery or 2, fuel and oil lines, carb kit (if it has carbs).

Even if you put $2500 into it still a good buy, if everything else is pristine as you say.

Why can't you see it now?
I'm in Michigan too......see below
