ok I got the magneto cover back on with a new oring...wow what a pain. front motor mount is all torqued back down now im heading to get a new oring for the oil pump from the dealer. the oil pump has been off since last year but it has always been upright never upside down, do I need to bleed it and if so whats the best way, can I just pull the plugs and roll the motor over and reach down with a coat hanger and hold the oilpump wide open? or is there a better way, im gonna take it for a spin then if it still has a high speed cutout im gonna try rebuilding the carbs then if that doesn't work I think its the cdi box so I will be getting an msd ignition, but one step at a time so I know what exactly is causing the cutout. thanks fellas

Any time you play with the pump... it should be bled to make sure it's OK.

Start with opening the screw on the face, to let the air out. Then... hold the pump arm, and start the engine.
