Ok heres my problem guys and gals.I purchased a jet ski(90 seadoo gt 3seater)from a old farmer lol when i got it it had no gas so i put some new gas and oil.The first time i started it it ran fine then i took it out to the lake and jumped on and started itran around for maybe....2min and realized I FORRGOT TO PLUG UP THE DRAIN PLUG:( So now it wont start. It does crank over but i think what ever makes it spark got wet and rusted.Theres no water in the pistons water only got about 3 or 4 inches from the top of the motor.

Trying to get a response in to so many posts within 2 hours is tough. We're trying our best, though.

The electrical box (where your spark plug wires go), might have have water inside.

Open the box (a rough diagram link below) and dry it out and check for corrosion on the terminals. You should remove them, dry them out, brush them lightly with a brass bristle brush and reconnect. Apply dielectric grease on the nuts to prevent corrosion. Compressed air makes it easy to dry this stuff out quickly.

Removing the flywheel - I believe this requires removing the jet pump assembly, then the drive shaft - THEN the flywheel. This assumes you don't try to remove the engine. I'm not very familiar with this generation of Seadoos, so hopefully some of our more experienced folks will chime in later tonight.

What about the fuses in the fuseholders?

Also, did you try cranking the engine with the spark plugs removed (plug wires grounded)?

Silly to ask, but hey sometimes you have to - fuel selector is set to what?

I want to take the pully off so i can clean the coils behind it.
Ive put the fuel on and i still get no spark.I think that something got rusted and its not leting it spark:confused:

Well guys i finally pulled the flywheel off and found out that i jacked up the coil that charges my batterty:(But the dealer told me it might be my coil that send spark to the plugs that maybe got wet and its usally the first thing to go out.

both coils are part of the same assembly. called the stator. yellow motor stuff is cheap. go on ebay, search for seadoo stator. in ebay stores you will find a guy in indiana. perkinsville power sports. he has stuff from 25 bucks for an ugly but working stator to 125 bucks for the whole shebang.

I put everything back and.......no spark:(I ended jacking up my coil (the one that makes it spark)It got scrached but didnt mess the coils inside. One guy told me i can use wood varnish to repair the scrach has anybody heard of this?
