Won't come out of Forward

Hi All,

I'm relatively new to the boating world. Not afraid to get my hands dirty though.

My boat (2012 Speedster 150 [Supercharged / Intercooled 260) is stored in the garage, I winterized it, but didn't go over and lubricate everything external. Was planning on doing that today.

When I tried to take the boat out of forward and place it in neutral (throttle all the way down) it would not go for me. I don't want to force it. It moves slightly more than it would if the throttle was up.

Any ideas what can cause this?

Thanks!

Should be able to have a dealer check it out since it is under warranty. It is not a busy time either so you shouldn't have to wait long. Don't wait until Spring to have it checked when the dealers get busy.

Check the rear, be sure your transom straps aren't hindering it. If all is clear visually, then yes Id say use your warranty and take it to the dealer. Otherwise give it a wiggle or a nudge and see if you can get it to move a bit more. A slight hit with the palm of your hand should be enough to move it without worrying about breaking something.
