winterizing my 150 ?

so i live in northern va and need opinions on winterizing my 150. over the last few years it has not been that cold here and since last year my only local seadoo dealers*** (Coleman power sports) charged me for a winterizing and did not do a dam thing i need to know if this is a must do. the boat stays in a attached garage (townhouse) and last year i watched the temp in the garage and it did not even get close to freez. so what to do? im realey just looking for opinions on this thanks for any help.

Just a thought.....If this is an attached garage, could you simply install an electric heater thermostatically controlled to keep the garage around say.......45 degrees? You could always keep one of those wireless radio shack thermometers with alarm in your house to alert you if the temps get colder than say.....40 degrees.

I just did my 150 (SCIC) last weekend. It is a piece of cake once you are setup to do it. You need an extractor pump and an eTorx bit to get the lid off the oil filter. It takes about 20 minutes and will save you several hundred $$$. In the US, you can get a kit with the oil, filter and plugs for about $45. Here in Canada, it's a little different...

1 Gallon of oil, 1 Oil filter, 3 o-rings... $102.50

winterizing my 150 4tec speedster

I'm new and i'm not sure if i'm posting properly just had a question i live in northern ontario canada and i was wondering if i could put antifreeze in through the port on the back used to flush the water out of the engine i used a hose and funnel to put 6litres of -50 antifreeze in it and it all came out the exhaust just wondering if this will keep my boat in good condition till the spring i also fogged it.

any help appreciated thanks
