1. Run a short period of time just to get the water out of the jet
2. Use fogging oil and spray into flame arrestor until stalls
3. Open plugs and spray in there, turn engine over and then reinstall plugs
4. Clamp engine drain hose, t-hose from pump to motor and then gravity fill using the hose end from the jet
5. pour proper amounts of fuel stabializer

my question is this... rather than clamping all these hoses off, can I not just clamp the one hose that's normally clamped for flushing... and gravity fill using a funnel the coolant into the motor while its running to get it through to the heads, exhaust/waterbox, and jet?

Is gravity fill enough or do I need to buy a sump pump to get enough pressure through to get through everything?

gravity is enough. it is equivalent of "filling" it up. that is the main reason to clamp all of the hoses.it takes some time for all the passages to entirely fill. I would rock it on the trailer a bit to help it settle out all of the bubbles.

I have never done this with the engine running. I would worry that it would overheat in the time it took to get the antifreeze everywhere. mine was a 717 but I assume everything is close enough.

on top of your steps there is another step to remove one of the clamps and put a little more antifreeze in. this is to fill the "outbound" portion of the exhaust with antifreeze. I don't know if this applies to you. they also like you to top up the tanks so that no water condensation forms in the empty space of the tanks (oil and gas tanks). I personally never filler the oil reservoir to the top since mine leaked out of the plug when full.

picked up some cone oil from the local BRP store here and they say that they too themselves just gravity fill, but do turn on the motor to prevent it from going into the cylinder... just pinch the output hose once enough pink stuff comes out of it, and wait till the it comes out of the jet and the tow hook pisser

Winterising my 787s as long as all the correct hoses are clamped gravity is the way.
Do not run the engine it will overheat

So yesterday I did the following:

Filled her up and added some stabil (unfortunately the only gas I have here has up to 10% ethanol so hopefully this stabilizer is good enough)
Clamped the big hoze first, and gravitiy filled the coolant until it started draining out of the exhaust and engine drain line
Waited a bit for everything to cool and sprayed the engine with the engine fogger till it died, and then pulled the plugs and sprayed inside (put the plugs on the grounding posts) and turned the engine over a short bit
Turned the battery off
I did also lift up the boat from the front to try to empty the bildge as much as I could, and poured some antifreeze in the bilge in the case the remaining water was to freeze.

The "only" thing I have any concerns is that I did not see any coolant coming out of the Jet or the pisser.... Through running the motor, I'm sure all the water in the jet is out, but the line that pumps the water did not backflow out any pink antifreze nor the pisser off the tow hook

by rocking the boat, someone told me that chances are water from the hoses and the jet should be mostly gone, but the only way I can see coolant backflowing out of the jet or the pisser is if someone used a sump pump to use pressure...
