First off, a little background...

I bought a 08 Challenger 180 last year in March. It came with the wake tower, however the very first time I tried to collapse it down to put the boat in the garage I noticed that the front legs did not line up correctly and the tower had been jammed together for delivery. I called the dealership about it and they told me Seadoo was in the process of coming up with a permanent solution. I used the boat all summer, having to keep the tower upright because once you took it down it took 3 guys to force it back into place. I made several calls to Seadoo and the dealership and still no answers. I didn't raise too much hell about it because I ended up using the boat several times a week and it was easier to just keep it outside anyway.

At the end of the season (Dec. 08) I took the boat back over to the dealership to have the oil change and 'winterization' done only because I got a 3 year warranty thrown in when I bought it and I wanted to have a dealer service it until the warranty expires. I also told them to keep the boat until they had a resolution for the tower. At the end of March I began calling and asking what the status was. I was told a new tower had been ordered and would be in within a couple of weeks. A couple weeks later I called again and was then told the tower was backordered and they had no idea when it might be in.

So I just picked up my boat from the dealership this past week, because it is getting warm every now and then and I wanted it back tower or not. The day I picked it up I took it straight to the water only to find that the guage cluster does not come on at all when I put the key on. I took it back to the dealer that same night and was told a wire was loose the next day. I picked it back up and took it out again. Now it beeps extremely loud and long randomly while I am cruising along. It got much worse as I sped up. I also noticed that it would flash 12v Low whenever I started it, but not when the boat was moving. I took it home and charged the battery and took it out again. Didn't beep for the first few minutes, but then started doing it again except not quite as much. I just got home and decided to check the battery while it's running. 12.5v off 12.5v while it's on. I'm pretty sure the alternator or generator is bad on the boat. I'm going to take it back when I get a chance this week.

On top of everything that's actually wrong with the boat, I find oil all over the motor from the oil change and the inside of the boat is filthy with footprints, grease, etc.. Then I look over my bill and I see they charged me for 2 oil filters, 4 o rings, 8qts oil, 6 spark plugs, 2 antifreeze, 2 seadoo lubes and 6 hours labor. Now I'm no expert on these boats, but I don't think my single engine takes double everything. Am I right about that? Also does anybody know how much labor a single engine 4tec should be for a winter maintenance? I'm a little disappointed in my service here. I took it to a dealership for professional service and I get it back with more problems and grease and oil everywhere.

Sorry for the long post.. the dealership is closed now and I can't yell at them..
