winter battery tending

i have a 99 gti

will it hurt anything if i hook up the battery tender while the battery is still in the jetski ?

Dont live it in the ski over the winter. i take mine out and put it on a block of wood in my basement and ive never had a problem.

Yes, you will hurt it.

More specifically:

If you leave the CABLES attached, it will hurt the 'lectronics.

If you leave it in the DOO, it will bubble and spit out the vent hole Unless the vent line comes off, then all the acid crud will be INSIDE the ski)

And the acid crud that spits out the vent, will streak up the side of the Doo, where the vent line EXITS the Doo.

Just be a good boy, and REMOVE it, and you will doo alright.
