Is it painted or black acrylic type material? Mine is slightly dull wanted to know how to care for it or have it repainted.

Its solid black plastic. Maybe try one of the restorer kits they make for plastic like car headlights. I bet that would polish it out nicely.

What I wondered. It's like my acrylic windscreen on my boat. Scratching makes it dull. Good idea on headlight polish.
