Why does my intercooler look like this?

I need to replace my intercooler for a 2012 Seadoo RXT-X 260, but every replacement intercooler has an adapter sticking out, but mine doesn’t. Can I still buy the one with the adapter nozzle?

I'd get the one from SBT, it's more than what you'll pay for a Chinese knockoff from Amazon, but it comes with a warranty and appears to be well made. I bought one from them.

Unfortunately, they have none available. Looks like my only option is a used one from eBay

Also, what symptoms did you experience when your intercooler went bad? Did you also get water in your oil?
