I see on most big boats a radio to hear weather, fishing good spots and most importantly trouble calls if you need help.

Is anyone running a marine radio on thier seadoo boats?

It would be nice to get a dual purpose marine/ cd-mp3-fm unit that could drive power amps for good fidelity also.

Any recommendations?

I only run the ( ICW), inter coastal water way in my seadoo. I just have a AM FM cd player. On my 26 ft Chris Craft I go off shore diving as I'm a NAUI Dive Master. My radio of choice is a Pyle Marine stereo, cd, with weather channel. I also have a VHF radio and Garmin 498 full color GPS with MMSI connected together for emergency location and calling. I have been a boater since the age of 7 when I learned to swim. My dad gave me a row boat, because we had a lake house. I had my first motor boat at age 10, a 10' runabout with a 6 hp Mercury. I have always had a boat. My close friends call me "Fish", because of my water back ground and comfort in the water.
