I had my S/C rebuilt on my 2007 speedster by PWC they did a great job. I have now sold it and bought a challenger 180. Was thinking about doing it myself. Who has done it and what kit did they use Thanks

Certainly appreciate the previous business. Just some advice, do NOT use an aftermarket rebuild kit....only use OEM for rebuilds.

By the time you buy QUALITY tools to do the job you will save Zero money. And then you won't use them again for two or more years. Can you do it? Yes,, is it worth it, for me the answer is no.

I am very good mechanically speaking and do not care to entertain this specific job due to how perfect it really has to be.

eBay does sell a tool kit, but they are cheap and most fail by the second use.

Well my S/C was rebuilt at 23 hours by the guy I bought it from a local performance seadoo shop did it. I bought the seadoo and the S/C went at 53 hours. I don't think I trust the S/C for 100 hours. That's why I was thinking about doing it myself....

Most likely was rebuilt with non-OEM parts or improperly rebuilt. We don't see many failures when they are maintained within the 2 year/100 hour service interval.

Ha! 1,000 times this!

Well I broke down and sent my S/C to PWC muscle.. This is the 2nd one I have sent them in the last couple of months!!!, I figured if they do them all day long I'm sure that they know all the tricks plus they always helpful people on this sight and every time I have :thumbsup:called and asked question they answered and are always friendly
