Which direction does the fuel jet go???

I have a 2001 GTX dual carb 947 cc (not DI or RFI). There is a small hose on the PTO carb that has a fuel jet inside the hose. Unfortunately I didn't notice which direction the spray side was going. The hose is only 4" long and 3/16 ID. I am not really sure how to ask which direction because I don't know the parts of the carburetor. I refer back to the parts catalog for the 2001 GTX 947 Page nos. 55 & 56 (C5 - shows the jet as # 82). I need install the jet correctly. If anyone is familiar with this item, please give me a hand. It is a recharge jet. Doesn't matter which way it goes, but it is easier to start the tapered end first.
