Where to buy and put ballast tanks

Hello forum,

I'm new to the boats world.. I own a 2003 Speedster and I like wakeboarding, do you know where can I buy ballast tanks and where I can put them on the boat?

If the boat wasn't made for the tanks I wouldn't add them.....just my 2 cents.

Buy a wake boat instead.

there have been a few threads in the past about adding ballast tanks or Fat Sacks. try doing a Google search "ballast tanks site:seadooforum.com"

this goes under ur boat to get the water

as to where to put it thats up to you normally in the back where u have free space and in the front but i dont have a speedster so idk.

The previous owner of our X20 included the Fat Sac that they used. They dropped it into the ski-locker and filled it with a portable pump that looked exactly like a bilge pump. In the locker he said it gave them a nice wake for boarding. He said others have actually strapped that Fat Sac to their swimdeck when surfing as it added more weight in the rear where needed.

If someone is surfing to preferred side, you can also move the sac to one side more than the other to get a larger wake for surfing.
