Where do I get new 98 Speedster upholstery

Hi All!! I just recently bought a 98 Speedster with 200hrs on it.. Boat has been in the sun all its life and has some serious upholstery cracking.. After some serious wet sanding and polishing, the exterrior looks great, the upholstery is a different story.. I have contacted a few places to see if I could buy new seat cushions and unfortunately, they are not in production any more.. My question is: Does anybody know a good upholstery company that can remake these seats, or who may have bought the seat mold from sea doo so I can contact them for new seats. I have been to a couple upholsterers here and they are scared to do them.. Any advice would be great!

well, ur last statement answered my post. Best to, keep look'n for upholstery shop to re-do it.

And for your wet-sanding/polishing, you mind throw'n ur wisdom as to how you did it and with what grit. I'm on my way to get a 99 Speedster, and he says, that the gel-coat seen better days..:cheers:

I started with 800 grit on the real bad`spots, then to 1,200 grit. Then I moved to an aggressive compound and then a polish with a highspeed buffer.. It looks good as new. It took me 2 full days, well worth it.. It's such a shame the upholstery is jacked up, everything works perfect, it's the best running seadoo I have ever owned..
