Where can I find a Merc 240 EFI motor

Hi everyone, I am a newbie, I blew my motor on my 2000 Challenger , I am looking for a Mercury 240 EFI motor, anyone know where I can start loooking?
Dealer wants huge money

That motor is big bucks anywhere you go. I would find out exactly what is wrong and see if it is worthy of a rebuild. Otherwise, look around the internet on boards like this.

Unfortunately, the connecting rod went right through the block and put a hole in the block. The crankshaft is destroyed, the dealer tells me its cheaper to buy a motor than rebuild it. Only if i can find a used one, the oil pump failed at full throttle and leaned it out.

Depending on your insurance for the boat, I have heard of people claiming stuff like this before. Worth a shot.
