Well I believe im in the market again for another stand up. Ive owned a 85 js550 and 89 650. Since there arent that many in Indiana im kinda limited and dont really wanna spend $1500 for an early 90s stock superjet. Have never rode a superjet,sxr,sxi so I dont have much to compair. My friend had a 95ish 750 and I loved it

Square nose superjet.
You can get a clean one for $1k or less... they handle better than most standup's. The bottom hull, hasn't changed. So, a new $8k superjet is only a new upper, and a bigger engine.
The Kawi "SX" hulls don't cut as hard, or handle rough water as well... and they are always more money.
The square nose SJ will have a 650 or 701 engine, depending on the year.

I heard the best ski from the local standup guys here is a Polaris Octane... Probably outta your $$$ range tho. I think it was pretty much built for racing...
