I keep seeing people talking about clamping off a certain hose when towing. I have a 2005 speedster 200 and trailer all the time. What exactly is it and why do I need to clamp it. Thanks

If your ski or boat needs to be towed (in the water), you should clamp off the water inlet side to the motor to keep the motor from filling up with water. Much the same as why you should start the engine before turning on the hose when on a trailer.

I'm not sure but I don't think this applies to 4 strokes.
