What's the best economy you were able to get with your twin engine boat?

This is to all you twin rotax boaters: What's your setup and what's been the best fuel economy you've been able to achieve at cruise? Give me MPG, GPH, whatever you know. I'm curious to know. Single engine boater replies are welcome too :) Also, if you could give me an idea of how you figured that out, that would be great too.

Doc is correct. I get decent range when I am @ 6000-6200 RPM. Once on plane he sticks are at approx 50% throttle but I don`t think the carbs are open 50%. I do know our twin engine Challenger 1800 does better when the RAVE`s are fully opened.

Haven't really tested it on the 96 speedster, but it's not as bad as I expected when I bought it. I'll have to put some numbers to it next time I'm out.

I would say cruising speed 20-35 MPH the gas isn't to bad. I drive around like and 1 to 1 1/2 hours use like 10 gallons. All depends on the weight and how you drive it. You really don't see a huge speed change from 3/4 to full except the gas burns faster. I usually only go full when I am going to turn the boat real fast.
