What's a good price on a 2008 Speedster

There's a 2008 speedster (215HP) with wakeboard tower and 18 hours on the engine meter for sale locally. my 1995 gave up the ghost last year, and we'd like to replace it.

Any thoughts on what a good price would be, and does anyone know how easy it is to tamper with the engine meter.

Only noticeable issues are: steering is pretty tight, and blower doesn't work.

Boats are like houses......it is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. It's that simple. I would guess, not seeing the boat between $9,000.00 to $15,000.00 if the turbo charger is good. Remember the 2008 had ceramic washers in the turbo charger and they could have broken and the engine may be close to worthless. Also not using a boat engine is just as bad or worse then using it. I would have the boat checked out by a good Seadoo mechanic before you even talk money. Also the boat is 7/8 years old and why only 18 hours on the engine. I don't think they can fudge the hours because the computer doesn't lie.
