What year did ceramic washers stop

Does anyone know what year seadoo stopped using ceramic washers in their superchargers ?

I believe it was in 2007 or 2008. I know my '08 RXP-x no longer had the ceramic washers.

go on yahoo and type in fizzle factor seadooo washers they have a real good article on the years that had them,if this helps I have an 08 gtx with 45 hrs that I just changed them to not have any problems down the road and they were the gold colored steel washers apparently the coated ones,,i put the riva steel washers in it,,,nothing to it just tight working space...

yes i believe late 07-08 was the year they upgraded to the steel washers.. BUT.. the bearing cages are STILL ceramic

08 was SUPPOSE to not have them. But in reality, a fair of the 08's did have them. Sooo,,, I would never assume if I had an 08 that they are good to go without checking to see what they are.

I have not heard of any 09's sneaking in....

I have see a couple early '09's with them. (basically '09's that were made in '08)

Only way to know, is to pull the charger, and check it.

I have an 09 RXT-X and figured I was safe,,, Hmmmm...
