I have a 94seado xp with the 657x engine. Recently did a carb rebuild, which I may say is not all that difficult especially with all the helpful tips on this site. Anyways my question is from a stop do most of all you other guys seadoos take off rather slowly. I mean its like you press the throttle all the way in and its not a crisp response, its not bogging down but I would say its like a split slow response but not bogging down then its like it takes off. I dont know if im just comparing to newer jetski's that are super charged or what. I know that once it goes about 5ft its like it just goes. I dont ever feel any type of hesitation though, just am curious to know if anyone else feels the same way and if so has anyone corrected the problem or if there is a way to. I guess you have to get your rpm's up to get more power and thats exactly what happens. I know that out of the water when the throttle is pressed even slightly the engine revs right up. compression is 135 in both pistons and I dont feel its the jet pump as Im thinking more of a response issue, and it may be normal as it pretty much picks up and goes a split second after acceleration. just not a crisp get up and go. When your already going and you let off to slow down or turn then going wot from like 1/4 and your already going it feels like it does better. anyways just curious as to what everyone elses do. I have 2 xp's and they both react the same so it may be me just asking too much out of a 94seadoo
