hey guys & gals, I'm thinking on buying a doo sometime soon, who knows
maybe this weekend, my only thing is witch one do I buy, my top two choices are
GTI SE (155hp)
GTX (155)
can I get some feed back about this two doo's if you own one ....... help. ..
I will like a good ride, powerfull, fast, 1+ passengers, the VTS trims the doo to it's best position in the water, pull at least 300lbs on a tube (2 people) if possible, close loop cooling, what else do they have ....
Please help, this is a big investment and I will hate to regrear my purchase ...

Thank you to all in advance ...

Hello, I have the GTI SE 155hp. I choose this over the GTX because it was shorter, less expensive, and the seat (the GTX saddle is nice to ride but if you are riding as a passenger and they slow down quickly, disomfort if you slide forward for the "boys" if you know what I mean).

This has been a great ski for me, gas and go, love the 4 stroke.

thanks man, It looks like I'll be going for the 07 GTX with zero hours
for $8150 out the door, how does this sound ?????
The one that I first looked at was the GTI SE 155hp, I really liked it, but I can pick this GTX for about the same price I was getting the GTI SE 155, are they many diferences in between the two, GTI SE 155 - GTX 155 ???
Are they any new updates in between the GTX 155 2007 to the 2008 ???

Thank you all in advacne for your help, it's been very helpufl in my research/desition

No updates...

There really isn't any big changes between the 2007 and 08 models of the GTX or GTI....
The difference's between the two is the GTX is listed as a "luxury" model which also offers it in the 215 supercharged version and the GTI is considered a "recreation model", only available in the 155, naturally aspirated.
The RXT and RXP are considered their "musclecraft" and the Wake edition, their "sport" craft.
Either way you slice it, your looking into a nice ride. If your more into hot doggin, then the GTI might fit your fancy. But if your just into cruising the lakes and rivers, looking for the comfort, then the GTX may be your choice.
Good luck.....Welcome to the world of Seadoo.......
By the way, if you decide to consider the supercharged 215 or 255 hp models, come back and look for some advice on it.
It's a great ski and really super powerful but in my opinion, the supercharged versions just aren't worth the extra cost and maintenance for what they give you in return. The GTI and GTX, naturally aspirated will both hit the 70 mph mark, as will the supercharged versions, they just get you there quicker. So, unless you plan to drag race, stay away from the supercharged versions.

Pic's of new toy

07 GTX 155hp
I forgot to get a pic of the bike by it self, so here is a pic
of the Doo & family members this past Sunday for the Holiday weekend.
Lake Allatoona a little south of camp site 27.

file size.....

The file size for pix has been up-graded, so either you may be having a problem or you may need to convert your file type. You should be trying to use the jpeg format, it's easiest.

If you continue to have problems, PM me and I'll help you get it done.

If you have a photo shop program of some sort, bring it in and resize it, then "save as" jpeg format and then try to up-load.......
