What Pitch for best top end with good bottom Solas 16/23 16.5/23.5 OR skattrac 16/21

I managed to fit my whole post in the subject.

What Pitch for best top end with good buttom Solas 16/23 16.5/23.5 OR skattrac 16/21

I have a Sportster 1800 that was repitched by Impros a LONG time ago (Not sure to what..supposedly for faster bottom end). After replacing my tachometers I realize based on current reading, speed and sound that I have been topping out 6700RPM at WOT for a LONG time, so I think they were re-pitched too tall.

my engine compression was 145PSI last I checked, but it only reaches 42-43MPH on GPS. I have looked at carbs at WOT position and they seem to open fully.

I'm wondering if the right impellers will help me reach a higher top speed.I'm debating between these:

Solas 16/23 <-Solar recommended for the boat
16.5/23.5 <- My guess for higher top end (but I could end up too tall like I am now)
OR skattrac 16/21 <-Swirl is supposed to be slower top end, but wanted to see if anyone had a different experience.

Any thoughts or prior experience is welcome!

The boats almost always perform better with the Skat Trak swill impellers.

Remember that the 99 Sportster 1800 was the only year that came with the big hub 140mm RFI pump so it needs different impellers than the 97-98 sportster 1800's which use the more common small hub 140mm pumps

I found my 200RPM. It was hiding inside my flame arrestor, which was not installed. I've been running without it for some time. My hull bottom is also pretty dirty, so I'm going to be addressing this before I look at a new impeller.
