Hopefully this will attach. Boat came back from shop. Took out on water and water was coming in through this hole?? Did they forget to put a plug in it or whats the deal?? Can anyone help me. I have a seadoo challenger. Tired of these little annoyances that cause me to bring it back to them and put at the bottom of the pile to get fixed. (the hole is on the top. Pictured posted angled)

Okay thanks racerxxx, they obviously took that plug off and did not put it back on. Where can I get another plug to plug that up?? Then I won't even bring it back to them.

Thanks again,

Joyce

Nope, supposed to be open, it doubles as a drain. When you flush a seadoo you're pushing water thru in the reverse direction to potentially dislodge and debris that might enter. You're all god to go!

But water was gushing in and filling the boat up when I had it on water.......... why was it doing that RacerXXX??

There is a threaded cap #22 on the white flush port under the engine cover. Find the "T" and follow it, one side goes to the engine, the other to the back. If someone removed that hose, yes, you will need to cap that off. You could use a #4 expansion plug (that is the actual size of the expansion plug), you could get one at a local pool supply place. I use them to plug the lines in my pool when I winterize it. And I use them to block that port when I winterize my Speedster.

thank you so much. The mechanic said that sometimes they take them out in case they are outside and it rains a ton?? That sounds interesting but this helps. You're very helpful and I will go and pick one up. NO pool store around here......however.
