I just noticed a disconnected green wire and I'm not sure if it was disconnected from winterization. Can I safely connect it to the plus battery terminal? Any idea what it's for? Everything seems to be working as far as I can tell. I didn't check the bilge pump though.

Thanks.

Well it's green, typically that's a ground. Are there other ring terminals that look like that? If not are there any aftermarket accessories? Can you follow it back?

Ever find out what the green wire goes to? I have exact green wire disconnected....post winterisation.

definitely not original. i would imagine aftermarket radio or something.
take a voltmeter to it and check dc voltage between the terminal and the positive & negative batt terminals.

If it is a radio (or something looking for a ground), you should see 12v between the wire & neg batt. If it is a power wire (and someone used green just because) you will not see 12vdc between wire & neg.

I added a wire to my radio to maintain station memory, seems oem didnt think of this. perhaps this is all it is. Something on your boat doesnt work.
