What is this valve/flapper at the rear of the hull? Water at my feet when sitting still

See attached..the little flapper seems to be worn and I’m wondering if this is why I have to jam a plastic bag down under my feet into that hole to get it to stop leaking?AE150E99-DEE0-40DB-AE95-4F93033FE2F0.jpeg348FA2B1-82D3-4875-8876-9D58D61DBF81.jpeg

That’s your deck drain. Mine has a check valve on it to keep the water from coming back up the hole.

That's the Scupper valve. As above... it's the drain for the footwell. It's supposed to close while at floating around... but after you are done swimming, and drag a bunch of water in the passenger compartment... it will open again while underway, and allow the water to drain out.

It's just a generic valve, and easy to replace. Any boat shop will have them... or check ebay/amazon for one.
