What is this part?

This is a rubber cap of some sort that was laying in the hull after I pulled my motor. Does anybody recognize it and know where it goes?

Pretty sure it is one of the rubber caps that goes over the head of a bolt that holds a hatch in place. Like on the back of my ski there are two removable hatches (Battery and VTS trim motor I think). The bolts are adjustable so they seal out most water and that cap fits over the bolt head so that the metal bold it not directly in contact with the hull of the ski.

Thanks, I'll have to look around for something like that. It isn't very big, maybe 1/2" (haven't seen it in days, so this is by memory). It looked to have grease or something on the inside of it, so I didn't know if maybe it was a vent cap from something. The grease could just be gunk from sitting under the motor though. Thanks again.

Found it- it's the rubber bumper that sits on the end of the drive shaft stub!
