just curious.. what happens if the rave valves aren't working? will it cause the motor to blow? or if that bottome line is broken after the check valve?

The RAVE, (Rotax Adjustable Variable Exhaust) valves need to be working. What they do is they open the exhaust port larger as the engine rpm's increase. When the rpm's drop down so do the RAVE valves. They work on the principle of the pressure of the exhaust system with the vacuum solenoid. Rpm's increase, pressure increases and the valve opens, rpm's drop pressure drops, Valve closes. You need to have the valves working for proper performance.

i see. so that box is important and i should probably replace it since i broke off the fitting that sends the line to the tee for the valves

Yea, that's an important item to have if you want to keep you seadoo from seizing... Check out the "parts" Link at the top of the page for the part you need.
