Hey. I've got a 95 XP with the purple molding and I was thinking about buying new molding...will the 96 XP molding work on my ski or is it different shape? Also, just to be sure, the 96 is black right? I also realize that the molding is really expensive so has anyone ever painted the molding?? What kind of paint?? Thanks!

Painting the molding will be too much trouble for too little improvement. Since the bumpers do...uh, bump, the paint will come right off.

96 trim is black. And it should fit perfectly on the 95 hull.

thanks for the fast reply! hopefully i dont bump too much haha. i just don't want to pay the price of the oem bumpers/molding. does any1 make aftermarket trim by any chance?
