What is the flow direction on the oil line on the top of the reservoir?

Is it a return from the bottom of the engine block?

I think that is where I am leaking from, down by the bottom of the engine, but if so, how is the oil getting into that hose and going down and out into the hull?

I have pretty much drained an entire tank of oil into the hull, and the only place I can see any possible leak is from there.

Can I test it by blowing into the top of that hose and watching for oil to come out before I pull the engine?

One line goes to the Rotary Valve by the carb side( from the oil tank) and the return line comes from the other side to the oil tank. Chances are the line is either cracked or the fitting it is connected to is leaking. You might not be able to blow enough pressure by mouth to make it leak. If it is a small leak, just the vibration might make it leak.
