What is that third RAVE valve on the exhaust?

Hey everyone....This_Guy here! Totally new to the Seadoo world. I traded an old clunker car for my 1997 Seadoo Challenger about a month ago. Very happy with the trade. Needs a new wear ring, but still gets up and goes just fine.

I do have a question (my first of many) what is that third rave valve for on the exhaust? I read about them and why they are on the engine, but havent seen anything about why it is on the exhaust...either way, it is leaking a small bit of water out of the top (from the red screw thingy).

Hi and welcome to the SeaDoo forum.

What you're seeing is actually the water control valve. Most likely there's a hole in the bellows caused by the clamp. Replace the bellows and replace the clamp with a cable tie.
