What is everybody making for Thanksgiving?

I'll be doing a cranberry walnut stuffing stuffed turkey breast with a creamy sage gravy, jalepeno mac and cheese, cranberry brie en croute with home made crustini, yeast rolls, green bean casserole, (an American tradition), pecan sweet potato bake, pumkin gooey butter cake and a german chocolate cheesecake....

How about the rest of you? What are you making or where are you going?

We were going to my bother's place in Florida. but now I'm going to Sink's place.
We are making 3 pies. Traditional pumpkin, a creamy pumpkin cheesecake and an Apple pie.

It's all about the Waldorf salad and turkey for me.. We have a family recipe for the salad that is just ridiculous.

I'll be working at the firehouse. We are going to deep fry a turkey and make all the usual stuff hopefully.

Bless you men who work on a 24/7 community service job.
All firemen, Police, medical, road crews (at least in the Northern snowy states) & all that I missed.

I think we're going back to traditional this year, we had rib roast (prime rib), last year, sure was good but we've got a lot of company coming this year. We'll have turkey and I've got a country ham hanging in the garage (near the Seadoo's) that I'm going to cook.

I almost forgot we're going to Sink's house this year.

Bring the turkey and ham.. We'll have a great time! Might even pull the seadoo's behind the truck if there is enough snow!!!

No one in the family likes turkey including me so we always have prime rib with all the fixings.

I've done everything from pork tenderloins to grilled shrimp to prime rib for Thanksgiving. This year is going to be a little more traditional... but not totally.

griz asked cyndee whats she makin -- she said turkey, stuffing, mashed taters, sweet taters, green bean cassarole, deviled eggs, yeast rolls, pumpkin pie, pumpkin roll, and pumpkin cookies, griz is makin homemade eggnog, for rum and eggnog, then later homemade pina coladas -- griz has best pina colada recipe

Sink,
I thing we should invite Brent Vandelay to Thanksgiving dinner. Of course only if he is found by then.

He he he.You wonder where me was.I just got meself a yella hummer. It's got a damn ring thing in it though.Cant seem to find where is coming from though.

Hey Sink,

We'll be headed your way in a yellow hummer, even says Vandelay Industries on the door, picked it up for cheap. Could you take up a collection this thing uses more gas than a SeaDoo.

The guy I bought it from even threw in a double ski trailer, I might bring my SeaDoo's.

The one I just "bought" was from a guy that said it was his brothers.I think his name was Art Vansomething.Cant remember.

You Yeller a lot when you get a new hummer sometimes...

Please everyone, don't forget your sedoo's just cuz you got a hummer! It was 18 deg F yesterday morning so you might want to bring you wet suits too... At least that was ABOVE ZERO! It gets pretty cold here in Nebraska! At least Sis has enough padding to keep her warm. As long as she's cuddling with her cousins anyway.

Could someone coming from Florida bring Lobster tails??? I'm all out!

NE means NEBRASKA?????? Damn, we been drivin all night and are almost to NEW ENGLAND. Pa just made a U-turn in the middle of the interstate and almost shot ma right out the back of the truck.

I'm still holding lunch from yesterday. If you guys dont show up soon, I'm gunna let Ma have 6ths and it will all be gone!

OMG! Hot turkey samiches today for lunch were amazing!!! (bread, fresh mashed potatoes with turkey and turkey gravy on top) Sometimes I even surprise myself how good a cook I am!!!

Did everyone have a great turkey day? We had a great time with family and friends. Ate plenty and had a great time swapping lies! No snow so didn't get to drag the seadoo around. Bummer!

NE (that's Nebraska for you folks not from around here) kicked some butt in football today! LSU is looking better. It's gunna be a great day!!

Sink,

We'll be there soon, Sis bailed on us, she's in Ft. Lauderdale, with Brent Vandely. Jake and I are having a hellova time finding your house, I think our GPS only shows paved roads. Where we went wrong with your directions is when it said turn off the paved road. We're on the hunt now, we got our bloodhound Roscoe leading the way, we should be there soon.

We stopped along the way and had some road kill for Thanksgiving.

After that detour to New England, Pa put the petal to the metal but we only made it as far as Illinois and ended up eating Thanksgiving dinner at the Motel 8. New year we'll get us one of those fancy gee pee s doo dads so we don't git lost.
