What happens if I run exhaust without water

Hi, I have a 1995 seadoo xp with the 717 rotax motor. I am going to put it in a go kart and I noticed that the water runs through the exhaust. I’m wondering if I hook the motor to radiators and use motorcycle coolant, and if I dont have to water through the exhaust.

These have no water pump or thermostat and they are tuned to have an unlimited supply of cool lake water. So the engine will overheat.

The pipe is made to have the same total loss fresh cold water too so it to will quickly overheat.

Lots of work. Have to build the entire cooling system with radiator and fans. Also build a new exhaust that doesnt need water cooling. Be better to use a motorcycle engine.
