What engine is this?

I have a 1503 sc engine I want to rebuild but dont know what it came out of. It has date of 02/2006 and mot. #M6408140. Anyone know how I can tell what it came out of?

No way to tell from the motor number what it came out of that I am aware of. For 2006 sc engines, there were only the 185 and 215 hp models. The 185 and 215 were supercharged models and the only difference was the number of teeth on the flywheel and the camshaft. If the teeth for the starter bendix gear and the row of the sc gear line up then it is a 185, if they are slightly off it is a 215, 85 vs. 86 teeth.
