I know i have to twin 85's but what is the engine code? thanks. Do they make aftermarket pumps and stuff for my boat thanks again?

what engine does my 95 speedster have

Ok i know that i have 657 but is it the x or not
engines...?
That year model had either or, depending on what time of the year it was manafactured. You can look on the engine, either stamped on the casing over the pto or the mag side and get the EIN numbers off it. There may be an X in the numbers, but if not, you can call, 1.877.330.0231 toll free. If you have the EIN number, year, make and model, they'll be able to tell you if it's the X series or the standard 657. That number is a suppier of remanafactured OEM engines.

Nokidding i have a 95 speedster too and it sucks up everything, mine only has 3 fingers im gna call em... wish it was a 96 then id have 2 intakes! tired of bein toed!
Remove the grate
Years ago on my first Speedster I got tired of being towed and removed the grate. Ran that way for about 3 years, no problems.. however if a large object goes in these, good bye impellers. When you remove the grate, replace and seal the screws. If you leave them out, you sink.
if you get a jam, try backing in reverse in circles alternating with shut down, the junk may clear itself.
