I had my 1997 sea doo xp winterized at the powersports store last year and went to fire it up today and ran into some problems.
Now it did fire right up after putting the battery back in after charging it. I did take out the plugs and blow anything out of it first. .The plugs were pretty black but all I had so put them back in..
Now when in the water I did get it to fire up, but very briefy. I kept giving it gas but it woudl not take off.. I figured the plugs are bad, or perhpas the old gas from last year, however I thought since I got it professionaly winterized the gas woudl be good.
Any suggestions.
I also have another carry over probem from last year that I started a new thread about.. Please check it out if you have time

After swimmg the jet ski back to shore and getting it out of the water it did fire right up...
