I bought a used 95 XP. The guy gave me a jug of XP-S oil. The oil in the jug looks very thin & brownish in color. The oil on the dip stick is sort of blueish looking. Any help would be great. I bought a gallon of synthetic because the sea doo dealer told me that what I should use, but I don't want to mix no with syn.

Thanks.

Bombardier XP-S is brownish in color. I'm not sure of other brands of API TC, but I do know that most TC-W, TC-W2, and TC-W3 oils are blue or green in color.

This is what is recommended from seadoo as far as oil and fuel is concerned.
Use High quality low ASH API TC Injector oil.
Do Not use NMMA TC-W, TC-W2 or TC-W3 outboard motor oils or other ash less type 2 cycle oil. Avoid mixing different brands of API TC oil as resulting chemical reaction will cause severe engine damage. Never mix Mineral or synthetics oil together.

Never use fuel containing more than 10 % alcohol,( Methanol or Ethanol) as severe damage will occur. The minimum of 87 octane is recommended for most engines.
