i bought a 99 gsx rfi and had trouble with the battery. it looks like someone cut the battery box down and it has an inerstate 16clb we think, the letters are rubbed off. the operators manual says 19 A-H. what do these numbers mean? what one do i need? i took this one out and all the cells were dry, so i put water in them and slow charged it. the battery tests at the auto parts store says it checks good. i dont want to do all the way to the lake and have trouble also i dont want to spend 80.00 for a battery if i dont need it. and what does the temp mean on the display? is it the water circulating through the engine, if so what should it read?

You need to list you seadoo model and year in you avatar for future problems... The 19 A-H...A-H means amp hours. That battery will not ever come back if it was dry. Adding water will do nothing at that point. Take it to Auto Zone and have it Load tested...The "Temp" in the display means its over heating, check the cooling lines.

The numbers on the battery indicate the case size. Each company uses different letters to differ the different amp hours ratings but that is not really that important for small battery's. For most seadoo at 16 case will be perfect. You can add a taller one if you wish but just watch the clearance. You can pick up these batteries for 60.00 at a battery shop if you have one near you. Autozone will be a little more money!!! Also if it was dry it will work but not for to much longer. If your really concerned check the acid levels with a hydrometer.

i took it to advanced auto and they load tested it and it said it was good. are the bigger case or taller one stronger? what part number am i suppose to have. it is a 1999 gsx rfi. no i dont mean overtemp. i mean on the digital display one of the settings shows TEMP. is that the water temp running through the enine? mine was reading 89- 92 deg while running it for breakin. is that normal and when is it too hot?

The tall or bigger the case most time will result in more Cold Cranking Amps. (more lead and acid) The model will change from one battery company to another, depending on the Source. You can get any 16 size case. Deka is a good brand and they manufacture battery for thousands of smaller company that rename them. Deka's part number is ETX16L, Exide #YTX16-BS-1, Yuasa #YB16CL-B. Like I said if it is a 16 and the post match meaning the terminals are the same looking and on the same sides you'll be fine. Hope this helps and if you need more help let me know. With any number above they can cross reference to they battery at your local shop.
