Nobody knows? They look like bumpers that maybe to protect the back from some kind of accessory..

Good question - grab a wakeboard, now go put it on with the board on the swim deck - they're there to keep the board from sliding and hitting the gel-coat or sliding off into the water. Frankly I'm surprised they put them on - really well thought out and really comes in handy.
